We have taken every effort to ensure that the information contained in this website is accurate, complete and up to date. We cannot be held responsible for the site’s accuracy, however, or for any actions taken on the basis of the information provided on the site or for any loss suffered due to reliance on that information. Please note that colours displayed will depend upon the settings of your computer and monitor and it is therefore impossible to guarantee that the colour your monitor displays will accurately represent the colour of the product ordered. Similarly, sizes between manufacturers may vary. Please contact us if you feel we are providing inaccurate information. 

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges). 

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to this website, or the sites to which it links. We accept no responsibility for any damages arising from the loss of use of this information.

We make every effort to check that content on this website is free of viruses. It is always wise for you to run an anti-virus programme on all material downloaded from the internet. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system that may occur while using material derived from this website.

Your order is processed after receipt of the order by email contact or by telephone and after payment. A receipt will be provided for you. This acknowledgement represents the contract.

Prices quoted are in GBP £ sterling. Payments for orders can be made by cash, cheque (made payable to Mary’s of Enfield Ltd), or debit/credit card. For security reasons we will only deliver to the registered address of your credit card. N.B. Our prices are quoted in GBP £ sterling. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the applicable current foreign exchange rate for their own currency on transactions.

Delivery date will be advised on acceptance of your order, and may be confirmed by e-mail if requested. We aim to deliver your order by special delivery within 3 days of cleared payment receipt. We cannot accept liability for delay, in the event that nobody is at the address to receive the order or in circumstances that are outside of our control. Delivery is interpreted as an attempted delivery.

We can only accept liability for non-deliveries if we are notified within 3 days of the advised/anticipated delivery date. If your purchase is not received within 7 days of payment, please contact us in case of loss/delay through the delivery service used. 

As soon as we have delivered the products to your door you are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

We recommend you inspect your package for damage before accepting it. If your package appears to have incurred damage in shipping you would be advised not to accept the parcel. If you have already received the package and then notice the damage, make sure that you keep the packaging and contact us within 72 hours to report the damage and request a returns authorisation number. Please also check quantity of pieces delivered against the carrier’s paperwork and note shortages against the carrier’s documentation. 

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty on delivery, or within 28 days of receipt, please contact us on 01992 466066 within 72 hours of receipt of goods or fault developing. We will ask you to return the item and arrange to replace the item or issue a refund. You will be issued with a unique number against which to return the product.

If you receive incorrect goods it is your responsibility to notify us within 72 hours of receipt at which point we will make the necessary arrangements.

Please be aware you are responsible for ensuring the product is suitably packaged for return. The goods must be returned in the original packaging.

The cost of any damage caused due to insufficient packaging will be charged to you. This charge will be at least 15% of the purchase value. Once the goods are received back in our shop the fault will be verified and a replacement order will be sent out to you. 

This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse, for which there will be no refund or exchange.

We cannot accept liability for any indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, loss of business, loss of goodwill or economic loss whatsoever other than death, or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

If for any reason you need to cancel or delay your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will make best endeavours to make the necessary changes.

Postage costs for delivery to UK addresses and for delivery outside the UK will be quoted on request. Delivery times will vary. 

We believe that you will be delighted with your goods but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple and as smooth as possible. Under the European Directive on distance selling which was incorporated into UK law vide The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you are entitled to a 7 day cooling off period. This means you can return your order in its original condition AND packaging to: Mary’s of Enfield Ltd, 27 High Street, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire EN11 8SX, United Kingdom within 7 days of the date on which you received it. You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. 

For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery. If this method is not used we are not held responsible for any loss due to the postal service as a tracking number must always be provided as proof of postage. This applies to all of our products except for made to order garments, jewellery and also underwear and hosiery where the packaging has been opened. We recommend that you insure your return parcel in case of loss or damage. 

Returned goods must be received by us within 7 days; and only if the item is unworn and in it’s original resaleble condition i.e. clean, intact, with hangers and all tags still attached by their original means, and in the original packaging in which it was sent, we will then refund you any money which you have paid us for that product but less the postage costs. All you pay for is the return postage of the goods.

Garments can only be exchanged with a receipt within 14 days of purchase.
Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable.
We will only give refunds in accordance with your legal rights. You are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind.
