Ann Balon is an elegant Italian fashion label, ideal for Mother of the Bride, Bridegroom or wedding guests. A fine collection of Italian lace dresses and jackets ideal for the mother of the bride and for wedding outfits. The outfits are available in a variety of colours and sizes (up to XXXXL in some styles), easy fit, sizes 10 to 26 and hats to match. Ann is not interested in the catwalk - she dresses real women for real life. The Ann Balon collections include designs suited to women of all sizes from petite to plus size. For the fuller figure, the plus size collection pays particular attention to flattering shape, sleeves and straps.

Ann Balon (pictured - right) made her name as a jewellery designer before setting up her fashion label. Once on a trip to the beautiful Amalfi coast, Ann fell in love with the delicate Italian lace, appliqué work, vivid colours and dressmaking techniques typical of the region. These became the source of her awakening and the basis of her collections ever since. Ann and her team create designs with a classic timeless look, informed, but not overshadowed, by the latest trends and fashions. The focus is on sumptuous fabrics, the elegant, complementary Ann Balon cut and fluid movement, subtly sparkling decorative appliqué or embroidered detail, and colour. Every Ann Balon outfit is a creation of love, crafted in our "labaratorio" in the hills above magnificent Positano. Each piece is cut by hand, assembled by expert seamstresses with the appliqué work applied by hand. The finished ensemble is batch dyed and stone washed using traditional regional dyeing methods and pumice from Vesuvius. After dyeing, each piece is completed by hand and quality controlled. The whole fabrication process combines artisanal techniques, modern science and creative design.

This season Ann Balon have selected exquisite new materials from their Lake Como lace makers and have fashioned some lovely new appliqué. In their “labarotorio” they have developed a number of warm vibrant colours.

Tuscany - Elegant and affordable occasionwear with simpler styling in luxurious materials. Dress/jacket and 3 piece combinations including a number of very wearable outfits. Soft pastel colours for spring/summer Styles for all sizes from petite to plus size. Fully lined with elasticated waists, jackets with soft shoulder padding. Matching hats and fascinators from most stockists. Now also featuring a new Sienna range of more casual wear in luxurious silk velvet, chenille and soft linen look. Can be dressed up or down as the occasion demands.

Ann Balon cater for all figures and sizes and customers can choose from different hem lengths and necklines, body hugging or floating styles, dresses or suits. The Plus collections are especially designed to flatter the fuller figure with particular attention to shape, sleeves, straps and comfort.
